
Whilst The Gardeners Guild is not a consumer organisation and
membership is primarily for the benefit of the member, it is
committed to pursue the interests of both its members and the
consumer through careful membership selection and ongoing
refining of its members.
Membership Criteria
To be accepted as a member a gardener must:
a. Provide domestic garden maintenance as
part of their services and;
b. Be exclusively dedicated to horticulture and no other trade,
c. Have a nationally recognised horticultural
qualification or license.
The application should be completed by the business owner(s) responsible for the activities of the
business and the conduct of any employees.
Members
must agree to our terms and conditions of membership, as
summarised by our code of conduct.
Code of
Conduct
1. Membership will be cancelled and member benefits
lost in any instance of illegal trading,
2. Trading that would reasonably be regarded as unfair trading
and,
3. At our discretion, any behaviour likely to damage
the reputation of The Gardeners Guild and its members.
Fees
Membership is £30 a year plus a £10 new member registration fee.
Additional member stickers £2.50 each (including P&P). Size:
175mm x 185mm.
The Gardeners Guild is not currently registered for VAT.
1 application
gives 1 entry in the member register.
Payment is by Direct Debit - a safe and convenient system
supported by the Direct Debit Guarantee and can be cancelled at
any time.
