Apply for membership
1. Full Membership
Full Membership gives access to all services provided by The
Gardeners Guild, inclusion in the Member Register and allows use
of the member logo.
Affordable
Membership is
£30 a year.
There is an initial processing fee of £10 for new members (includes 1
vehicle sticker).
Additional member stickers are just £3.50 each. Size:
175mm x 185mm.
The Gardeners Guild is not currently registered for VAT.
1 application gives 1 entry in the member register.
Fees and
subscriptions to professional bodies are allowable against UK
Income Tax.
Membership is renewable annually.
Membership criteria
- (Full Member)
To be accepted as a member a gardener must:
a. Provide domestic garden maintenance as
part of their services and;
b. Be exclusively dedicated to horticulture or a trade related
to horticulture and;
c. Have at least one nationally recognised horticultural
qualification or license.
Qualifications should be formally accredited by a regulated
awarding board such as RHS, NPTC/City and Guilds, NCFE, LANTRA
etc. Acceptable qualifications include licenses for
specialist equipment such as chainsaws and pesticide application.
Gardeners must send evidence of their qualification before being
accepted as a member.

Full Member

Once the
application is completed, you can either post it to us or scan
and email it to us. A copy of at least one of your
qualifications should be sent in
with your application.
2.Student Membership
Student members have access to the members forum, census
results, admin support and regular updates but do
not have access to any other member benefits. Student membership does not allow
use of the member logo. Student members are not included in the
Member Register.

Student
Membership is free and designed to help students plan their
future gardening business.
Student membership is automatically cancelled after 3 years.
Membership criteria -
(Student Member)
a. The student
must be currently studying full or part time towards a
horticultural qualification and;
b. The student
must be recommended to The Gardeners Guild by their trainer or
lecturer who can be verified as such.
