Janet says 'I am a self employed gardener qualified to RHS level 2 and level 3 practical standard. I have had my own business for 8 years now and I currently maintain 2 large gardens in the Cambridge area'.

Helen has a national certificate in horticulture and says that she 'Professional gardener with long and varied career; most lately as horticultural supervisor in Cambridge Botanic Garden. Experienced and skilled as gardener trainer and woodland garden specialist. (nb I am not a tree surgeon!) Happy to work alongside interested but inexperienced garden owners, and to advise newly qualified gardeners. Currently I work with other self-employed gardeners in locality when they need another skilled gardener, teach horticulture in botanic garden adult education programme, volunteer as botanic garden guide, and manage applications etc to gardeners' charity (Professional Gardeners' Trust). And just for fun I keep an allotment where I grow veg, cut flowers and fruit.'
