Who are the qualified gardeners in Nottingham?
Heather Taylor who is a director at The Gardening Shop Advice and
Longeaton, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG10

I advise clients on how to improve their garden spaces, dealing with problem areas, identifying plants and how to maintain them. I also offer a garden mentoring service for horticultural skills. I give general plant care, advice and guidelines for planting a full variety of different types of plant. In the case of new gardens, I help the client achieve their desired result according to their budget. I also help to identify pest and disease problems and offer treatment solutions and possible preventative measures. Roses are a speciality and specific planting schemes and pruning advice can be given. I encourage all green spaces to be wildlife friendly in some form or another, encouraging customers to provide a haven for beneficial insects and to attract birds into their gardens. I can also advise planting options for businesses both indoor and out of doors to brighten up the working environment. I don't actually carry out hard landscaping myself, but I have a comprehensive list of reputable landscapers to whom I contract work out to.
